Everybody wants an island. Put it on the kitchen floor at full size and let them try to walk round it with the dishwasher open.

Can two people pass it?
900mm is the minimum gangway. 1100mm is what you want if two people cook at once, or if a drawer and an oven door face each other.
Let them scan it and hold their own phone up
The camera view only works on a phone. Point the code at their camera, and this page opens on their handset. That is the moment the idea sells itself.
Gangway figures are working practice, not regulation. 900mm is the usual minimum between an island and a run; 1000 to 1200mm is comfortable where two people work at once. Appliance door swings vary and should be taken from the specific model. Extraction, services and structural support for a hob or sink in an island all need planning before the units are ordered.
