A charge point is a box on a wall until you stand in front of it. Hold the phone up to the brickwork and it is there at full size, at the height you would actually fit it.

Once it appears: one finger drags it, two fingers turn it. It does not need a clear floor. Drop it where it fits and judge the size against what is already there.
Will the supply carry it?
The unit is the easy part. The answer lives in the main fuse, the cable run and the mounting height.
Let them scan it and hold their own phone up
The camera view only works on a phone. Point the code at their camera, and this page opens on their handset. That is the moment the idea sells itself.
Cable sizes shown are for a dedicated final circuit in a domestic installation and assume a 5% volt drop limit and standard reference method C. Real designs must account for grouping, ambient temperature, earthing arrangement and protective device characteristics. Mounting heights follow the OZEV grant guidance.
